Tasty alternative Argentinean music
This Argentinean multi-instrumentalist has ears tickled my ears with jazz and native folk experimentation like they haven’t been tickled in a long time (or not at least since I’d heard Hermeto Pascoal’s disc, “So Nao Toca Quem Nao Ouer”). From the first jazz track, “Mini-Bop”, the smile never left my face. The tight harmonies of “Luna Limon” took my cheeks by surprise like tart candy. Then, this funky-ass low down jazz groove of “Inalcanzable” had my shoulders rocking. Fun for all! Kudos also to the mixing and mastering for this CD.
